LifePoint Health Appoints Two Leaders to Top Executive Positions
June 21, 2022Brentwood, Tenn. (June 21, 2022) – LifePoint Health®, a diversified healthcare delivery network dedicated to its mission of Making Communities Healthier®, today announced that two of the organization’s current leaders have been promoted to new executive leadership roles within the company. Jason Zachariah has been named executive vice president (EVP), chief operating officer (COO), and Aaron Lewis has been named EVP, growth and integrated solutions. These appointments follow the retirement of Victor Giovanetti, who most recently served as president, hospital operations and has been with LifePoint for 9 years.

UCI Health and Kindred Rehabilitation Services Announce Plans for State-of-the-Art Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
June 16, 2022Orange, Calif., and Brentwood, Tenn., June 16, 2022 – UCI Health and Kindred Rehabilitation Services (“KRS”), a business unit of LifePoint Health, today announced that they have signed a definitive agreement to create a joint venture to construct and operate a 52-bed, 68,000 sq. ft. inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Orange County. The hospital will employ up to 200 and will be located at 17931 Von Karman Ave., in Irvine, Calif.

Rod Harkleroad Named CEO of Sumner Regional Medical Center and Market President of HighPoint Health System
June 15, 2022Gallatin, TN (June 15, 2022) – Sumner Regional Medical Center (SRMC) announced today that Rod Harkleroad, RN has been named its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective July 11. Harkleroad will also serve as market president of HighPoint Health System (HighPoint), which includes SRMC as well as Riverview Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in Carthage, Tennessee and Trousdale Medical Center (TMC) in Hartsville, Tennessee. He joins SRMC from Frye Regional Medical Center (FRMC), a Duke LifePoint facility in Hickory, North Carolina, where he has served as CEO since 2020. He will replace Susan Peach, who is retiring after ten years leading SRMC and HighPoint.

February 15, 2022FORT WORTH, Texas (February 15, 2022) – Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth, a freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital operated as a joint venture between Kindred Rehabilitation Services and Texas Health Resources, will begin offering a residency program for prospective Physical Medicine Rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians (physiatrists) in 2023. The hospital’s residency program received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in October of 2021 and is currently in development.
