Dale Alward Named CEO of Sovah Health - Martinsville
June 26, 2019Sovah Health - Martinsville today announced that Dale F. Alward, FACHE, has been named its chief executive officer (CEO). Alward joins the hospital from Twin County Regional Healthcare, a Duke LifePoint Healthcare facility in Galax, Va., where he served as CEO for two years. Alward will replace Michael Erhat, who previously served as CEO.

April 15, 2019Southwestern Medical Center (SWMC), part of LifePoint Health, today announced that Elizabeth Jones has been named chief executive officer (CEO), effective May 6. Jones comes to SWMC from Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (LCRH), another LifePoint Health facility in Somerset, Kentucky, where she served as chief operating officer (COO). Jones will replace Jerry Dooley, who has been serving as interim CEO.

Carolina Pines Hosts 5K/10K to Fight Heart Disease

Jackson Purchase Medical Center Opens Milk Depot for Western Kentucky Infants in Need
March 08, 2019Jackson Purchase Medical Center has opened Mayfield, Kentucky's first milk depot. Working with The Milk Bank – which has other milk depots in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri – Jackson Purchase's milk depot will serve as a donation site where eligible women can donate breast milk for babies in the community who are in need, including premature babies at risk for infections.

Conemaugh Nason Medical Center Celebrates Completion of $3 Million Cardiac Catheterization Lab
January 15, 2019Conemaugh Nason Medical Center ceremoniously cut the ribbon on a new cardiovascular catheterization (cath) lab in the presence of physicians, employees, government officials and community members today. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the public was invited to tour the new 2,400 square-foot lab, located just off the main entrance of the hospital. The hospital expects to begin treating patients in the new facility on January 15.
